Frames, manufacture and standards

A lot of conservatory seating uses a rubber webbing base, which in time will stretch and sag, affecting the shape and support. All of the furniture featured in this brochure however, includes sprung bases, which will both retain their shape and provide many more years of additional comfort and support.

For long lasting good looks, we use British Vita ‘Reflex’ Foam for seat cushions, which is specially designed to spring back into place and keep its shape, whilst the back cushions are filled with resilient and comfortable fibre-fill. For a softer feel, with a more casual appearance, we now offer luxurious, deep-fill seat cushions on a selection of ranges.

Strong leather bindings are used, coated with a special sealant to provide longer lasting durability (rattan binding can split or unravel in time).

All our cushions have fully removable covers for dry cleaning and most cushion seat backs and bases are fully reversible.

All our cushions and fabrics meet British Fire Safety Standards and all table tops are toughened glass to British Safety Standards.

All furniture is manufactured on robust wooden frames for maximum support.
