We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously. All our rattan is sustainably sourced from Indonesia, the world’s biggest rattan supplier.

Rattan is also a very sympathetic crop in that it only grows amongst other trees and therefore needs the forests around it to be successfully grown and harvested. It grows incredibly fast, around 6 metres per year, so is a crop that can quickly and easily replenish its own stocks.
